How much is donated to my selected cause?

100% of all donations are donated to your chosen climate cause. Donations are made directly from Amplify to each climate cause partner. 

Can I change my selected cause?

Yes, you can change your selected cause at any time in your account settings under the ‘climate cause’ tab.

Can I track my donations to date?

Absolutely, all of your donation history can be viewed in your account settings under the ‘donation history’ tab.

What does it mean to ‘link your card’?

Card linking is the technology that makes it possible for Amplify to generate a donation every time you shop with a verified Amplify brand online. 

Our system will know each time you use a linked card at an Amplify business checkout page and automatically donate on your behalf (at no added cost)! Simply pay using your Amplify linked card(s) when shopping with any sustainable brand in the Amplify network and we’ll do the rest.

How do I earn donations when shopping sustainably?

Simple. All you have to do is use your card or card(s) linked to your Amplify account when purchasing from any sustainable brand in the Amplify network. We look after the rest and generate the donation at no extra cost to you!

What does it mean when my donation status is “pending”?

Pending means we are waiting for the brand’s refund window to pass before processing your donation. The maximum refund window we allow for is 28 days.

What information does Amplify see from my linked card?

We only see transactions you make with linked cards at Amplify participating businesses. We never see any other information linked to your card, apart from the last 4 digits and the expiry date.

I have a joint bank account with someone else, so can we use our own bank cards with Amplify?

Yes you can! As long as the debit or credit card you each use has different long card numbers on the front you are good to go. You can earn donations separately!

How are you able to access my transaction data without storing my card details?

We encrypt your card details with the highest security encryption levels that exist to date. Your details are replaced with an ID number which is meaningless out of context, even to us. The ID number is used for MasterCard, Amex and Visa’s secure systems to track your spend only on your linked card and for us to allocate your donation to your chosen cause!

How do I see my linked debit/credit cards?

First you need to log in to your Amplify account, login available here!  

Then, all you need to do is get yourself onto the account settings section of your account, under the ‘linked cards’ section you’ll see all of your linked cards here. Remember, you can link as many cards as you like with your Amplify account.

How do I remove or unlink my card from my Amplify account?

When you’re logged into your Amplify account, just head to your account settings, under ‘linking cards’ you will find all your linked cards. Here, you can remove your card using the ‘delete’ icon on the top right of the card or you can add in any new cards. 

Remember, if your card expires and you get a new one sent out, you should add your new one before deleting the old!

How do I know when I’m shopping with an Amplify brand?

Look out for the Amplify partner badge on our brands website in the footer and/or at checkout! 

How do I link credit/debit cards to my account?

It’s part of our sign up process! All we require is your 16 digit card number & card expiry date in order to donate to your selected cause(s) when shopping with any Amplify business. 

You can also add more cards at any time in your account settings under the ‘card linking’ section.

How do I link my debit/credit card?

With ease! 

When you set up an account with us, one of the first steps is linking your card – which is necessary in order to earn donations for your selected cause! 

All you need to do is enter the 16 digit card number (so we know which card will be used to earn donations when shopping with any Amplify business, the expiry date (so we know your card is actually valid). We don’t ask for your 3-digit security number, so it’s a super simple and secure process. 

We won’t store your card details either, all your details are encrypted as soon as you sign up and replaced with an ID number which is meaningless out of context, even to us. We keep a hold of the last 4 digits of your card (to display your card correctly in your personal account) and your expiry date (so we can remind you when your card has expired).

Once you’ve linked your card, you’ll be able to start earning donations when shopping with any Amplify participating businesses!

Do you store the details of my linked card?

We will never store any identifiable details.

As soon as you link a card, we encrypt your card details with bank-level security systems – replacing the details with an ID number. All we keep is the last 4 digits of your card number and the card’s expiry date. We keep these so that we can display your card correctly within your account, and so that we can remind you when your card has expired so you can link your new one and keep on earning donations!

Once the details are encrypted, we can’t see or access them, and neither can anyone else. This ID number is meaningless out of context, even to us. No one will be able to tell from our system which card is yours once linked.

Does Amplify see my transactions outside of Amplify partnered brands?

No. We only see transactions you make with your Amplify linked card at participating Amplify sustainable brands.

Can I delete my card?

Yes of course. At any time, in your account settings section under the ‘linked cards’ section in literally 2 taps.

  1. Find the card you wish to unlink
  2.  Click the ‘bin’ button in the top right corner. 

All done!

Can I link any debit/credit card to Amplify?

Amplify currently works with VISA, Matercard and Amex, meaning you can add any card from these card providers

Can I link more than one debit/credit card to Amplify?

Yes, you can. As many you’d like! 

In your account settings section there is a designated ‘linking cards section where you can link one or multiple cards by selecting add new card button. 

Can I link my American Express (AMEX) card?

Yes you can. 

Simply log in to your account to add your AMEX card in the ‘linking cards’ section of your account settings.
