How we assess
brand partners
Each brand in our network goes through a verification process (scroll down for full process) to determine if they meet our eligibility criteria, before becoming an Amplify brand partner. A pivotal part of the partner selection process is our assessment of a brand’s sustainability practices. While our assessment and selection process is very thorough, we recognise we are not an accrediting body nor do we claim to be. Our approach is transparency driven. We showcase each brand’s sustainability credentials in their sustainability profile, which allows each consumer to individually assess each brand before choosing to shop with them. Each brand is assessed across the below eight areas:
Company mission & values
Internal policies & practices
Transparency
Certifications
Product materials
Supply chain
Fair labour
Environmental impact of product
Partner selection process
Our brand partner selection process is broken down in 5 phases:
Independent research
We conduct our own independent research and due diligence based on publicly available information.
Interview with leadership
We engage company leadership to verbally assess each company’s eligibility under the criteria outlined above.
Application
Following a successful interview, the brand completes an application form which questions leadership across the outlined areas of eligibility in more detail.
Assessment
We collate all information to make an informed decision on whether or not a partner is accepted on the platform.
Continuous review
Our review process is subject to continuous iterations based on new learnings, knowledge, research, peer reviews and specific industry developments.
